Three, Playoff Weekend

I noted earlier this week that just about every team plays two games between Monday and Wednesday of next week, so the weekend is still the time to play catchup with a retooled style, then those players can either be carried over into the week, or exchanged for others.

So, as promised, the finals Emergency Reserve list, with (relevant stat) predictions!

  • Rodney Stuckey - 15 points
  • Jarrett Jack - 16 points, FT%
  • Rafer Alston - 6 assists, 1 three
  • Keyon Dooling - 12 points, 2 threes, FT%
  • Ryan Gomes - 20 points, 6 rebounds, 1 three
  • Mike Miller - 6 rebounds, 6 assists, 2 steals
  • Ramon Sessions - 12 points, 7 assists
  • Ronnie Brewer - 2 steals
  • Anthony Randolph - 7 rebounds, 2 steals, 2 blocks
  • Kelenna Azubuike - 19 points, 3 threes
  • Andris Biedrins - 10 points, 5 rebounds, 1 block (should improve steadily over the final 3-4 games)
  • Steve Blake - 5 assists, 2 threes
  • Joel Przybilla - 9 rebounds, 2 blocks
  • Brian Skinner - 10 rebounds, 2 blocks
  • Kendrick Perkins - 7 rebounds, 1 block

  • Samuel Dalembert - 3 blocks
  • Anthony Parker - 13 points, 1 steal
  • Roger Mason - 12 points, 2 threes
  • Francisco Garcia - 1 three, 2 steals, 2 blocks
  • Jason Thompson - 10 rebounds

  • Mark Gasol - 7 rebounds
  • Trevor Ariza - 2 steals
  • Andrew Bynum - 8 rebounds, 1 block
As you can see, the Sunday list is a little thin, as far as names that probably AREN'T already on somebody's team.  As a result of this little situation, I will post (ON SATURDAY NIGHT) the list of Monday-Wednesday pickups, and how many games you will get out of that player.  It is going to be extremely comprehensive, so please use the list, since I'm going to blow quite a bit of time putting it together.

No new links to boast tonight, though I did some substantial research into the second link posted last night:

I must say, this site is only for those with an incredibly high testicular fortitude value (TFV).  The links do not simply "play" the live sporting game, despite the indications of having a PLAY button.  Instead, you need to download small nuggets of software that interpret the peer-2-peer code.  If I had to compare this site's premise to anything else I've encountered, it is something like the Bittorrent of streaming video.  The software enables peers to share the streaming video between each other, which prevents the needlessly thick bifocals of those running MLB.TV/NBA League Pass/Satellite Sporting Packages/etc to easily shut down the streaming link.

Now, if you're willing to fight through the mayhem, you will gain access to a treasure room that would make "Room 3" in Disneyland's Pirates of the Caribbean Boat Ride look like a change purse.  Today alone, I was able to access 6 Major League Baseball games, and the only NBA game not televised on TNT, which certainly bodes well for tomorrow, and the tomorrows after that.  So far, I have not experienced any adverse side effects from the install of "TVAnts" software on my computer, but I will alert the presses if that changes.  In addition, while some of the streams drop from time to time (since they are maintained not by a server, but by individuals), the quality, when running, is far better than anything you'll find at a or similar site.
